On Thursday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Greg Garrett, candidate for District 19 Representative joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk about his bid for the office and many topics currently of concern to voters.

Among the issues discussed were border security and illegal immigration, term limits, abortion, national debt and bank bailouts.

About term limits, Garrett said,

We believe that the Congress was set up for one, or two or three terms. I think we ought to have ten year limits, and we ought to go from there.

Hasty asked Garret, a president/CEO of a local bank, about his view on the Banking Act of 1933, commonly known as the Glass-Steagall Act. Garrett was not familiar with the topic. Glass-Steagall has been a topic of debate in financial and political circles since it's repeal in 1999. Many have claimed that it's repeal partly led to the financial crisis in 2008. You can read more on Glass Steagall in the New York Times.
