Greg Abbott to Speak at Anti-Abortion Rally in Austin

Saturday, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott will speak at an anti-abortion rally in Austin.  Texas Alliance for Life organized the rally which is taking place on the steps of the Texas Capitol.

Abbott, who is running for the Republican nomination for Governor in the March Primary, is staunchly against abortion, except where the health of the mother is at risk.

Organizers of the rally say it will focus on the 41^stanniversary of Roe vs. Wade.  Other people speaking at the rally include Terry Williams and CARENET, Bishop Joe Vasquez of the Austin Catholic Diocese, Sylvia Johnson and Jodie Laubenberg.
