Governor Abbott Appoints Canyon Native to Aerospace and Aviation Advisory Committee

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Shannon Massey of Canyon to the Aerospace and Aviation Advisory Committee for a term set to expire September 1st, 2021.

Shannon Massey is vice president of assembly operations for Bell, which includes the company's commercial and military aircraft delivery center in Amarillo.

Shannon is a board member of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce, co-chair for the West Texas A&M University Path to 125 intellectual resources committee, and a board member of the United Way of Amarillo and Canyon.

Shannon received a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University.
