On the Monday edition of the Chad Hasty Show Matt Mackowiak, GOP strategist and co-founder of MustReadTexas.com, talked with Chad Hasty about the latest national and state-wide issues.

Tomorrow is Election Day, and according to Mackowiak, most of the the media thinks that Obama will win re-election. However, Mackowiak is confident that a number of factors, such as a lack of enthusiasm from Democrats and independents starting to break away towards the Romney camp will result in a Romney victory. However, the battle ground state of Ohio is still up in the air, and Mackowiak said this state will be the hardest to predict a winner in.

"Ohio, to me, is the real mystery. Romney has not led in almost any poll there over the past 6 months. So, it's a little bit of a leap of faith. But I just think that Romney continues to have momentum, and there's enough general concern and lack of confidence in the incumbent among the voters that [Obama's] going to come up a little bit short, and Romney's going to win."

Mackowiak said Romney also has a chance to win Pennsylvania. According to Mackowiak, if Romney can win both Pennsylvania and Michigan, which both supported Obama in the previous election, it would be a huge "slap in the face" to the Obama camp.
