GOP Strategist Matt Mackowiak on Upcoming Governor and Lt. Governor Debates [AUDIO]

Matt Mackowiak[/caption]Monday on KFYO's The Chad Hasty Show, Matt Mackowiak, GOP strategist and co-founder of the bipartisan political news blog Must Read Texas, joined Chad to talk about upcoming debates for the Texas Governor and Lieutenant Governor seats.

The debate between Dan Patrick (R) and Leticia Van de Putte (D) will take place tonight (Monday, September 29th) in Austin. KFYO will carry live coverage of the Lt. Governor debate between Patrick and Van de Putte on NewsTalk 790 and streaming on KFYO.com beginning at 7:00pm CDT.

The debate between Greg Abbott (R) and Wendy Davis (D) will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, September 30) at 8:00pm CDT in Dallas.

Democrats in both race are well behind in the polls. Questioned on what Davis need to do to bring her numbers up, Mackowiak said, "Yes, she does need to improve. She needs to be, I think, a little bit less robotic."
