GM to Bring Back El Camino if 100,000 Comment on Blog

The Chevrolet El Camino is  one America’s favorite classic vehicles, and since it was discontinued in the ’80s, fans have been trying to find ways to bring it back.

Blogger Ray Wert at Jalopnik says he has found a way to do just that. He recently tweeted, asking his bloggers to tell Joel Ewanick, General Motors Chief Marketing Officer, that they wanted the El Camino back. Ewanick responded to blog the readers @Chavalanche, saying, “well, we need you and 100,000 more of your friends.”

The Jalopnik blogger is now asking El Camino enthusiasts from all over the word to voice their desire in on his blog post.The goal is to get 100,000 comments voicing their desire for the El Camino to make a come back. As of Monday, the post had over 3,150 comments.
