Friday on Lubbock's First News, Mayor Glen Robertson discussed the conclusions and hot topics of the most recent City Council meeting.

The Mayor said, "You know, we want to listen to citizens and we don't want to discourage it, but there has to be a line there. It was definitely crossed last night." He feels that those who commented at the meeting were representatives of the problems with airing all citizen comments. He reiterated that the problem lies with those that speak on topics not on the agenda. The Mayor concluded with comments on the Citizens Task Force "to solve some big problems with communication between one department of the city and the rest  of the city."
