This weekend, Kliff Kingsbury, head coach of the Texas Tech football team and former Red Raider quarterback, was inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame. He was a standout in New Braunfels, Texas in the late 90s before coming to Texas Tech for coach Spike Dykes.

In high school, Kingsbury led the team to the Class 5A Division II semifinals and a 13–2 record. He was named the offensive MVP in the Texas High School Coaches All-Star Game.
