Get Ready for the Mayor’s Fitness Council Initiative

Lubbock Mayor Dan Pope will kick-off the Mayor’s Fitness Council initiative during a news conference Wednesday, September 6th.

The event will take place at Roscoe Wilson Elementary School located at 2807 25^th Street, and it will start at 8:30 a.m. The Mayor’s Fitness Council aims to bring together key community stakeholders and city leaders, as well as local individuals and youth, organizations, agencies, churches, and businesses that share the vision of a healthier community.
