Lubbock Moonlight Musicals has made the decision to reschedule it's New Year's Eve Ball to Friday, January 2nd at 7 p.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Banquet Hall.  Patrons unable to attend Friday's performance should contact the Select-a-Seat office.  For people interested in attending, additional tickets are still available through Select-a-Seat at 806-770-2000.

Gerald Dolter with Lubbock Moonlight Musicals stopped by the News/Talk 790 KFYO studios to visit with Lubbock's First News' Tom Collins and Laura Mac about an exciting New Year's Eve even planned for the Hub City.

The First ever Moonlight Ball will be held at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Banquet Hall New Year's Eve beginning at 6:30 with  a special dinner catered by Honey Child Catering.For those not interested in the dinner  a desert bar will be available for purchase separately.

.Following the dinner, Al Shin will lead his orchestra and they will play until after midnight. The band will play dance music form the "Big Band" era of the 1940's featuring the music of Guy Lombardo and Les Brown.

Dolter suggest those attending the gala "dress up" as part of the fun. He suggest men wear either formal wear or suits if they chose not to dress in period costume and that ladies wear nice dresses.

Tickets are available through Select-A-Seat at the web site www.selectaseat.com or via telephone at 770-2000. Tickets will be available until 4 pm Wednesday, December, 31.Tickets range in price form $50 to $125
