Friday afternoon, a vehicle crashed into the front of George's Cafe on 4th Street in Lubbock, injuring several people.

According to Everything Lubbock, the accident happened just before 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon (April 22). A single vehicle reportedly drove into the front of the restaurant and ended up inside. Emergency crews, including fire trucks, responded to a call about the accident.

Three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries, reports the site.

Police say that the driver and passenger inside the car that crashed into George's Cafe were not injured. Early reports from police paint the crash as a case of the driver accidentally hitting the gas pedal when they meant to hit the brakes.
