Gas prices continue to tumble in the Hub City and Lone Star State.

According to the weekly KFYO News Gas Price Survey, the average price of regular self-serve fuel in Lubbock fell nine cents to $3.32 per gallon. Motorists in Lubbock were paying $3.31 at this same point in 2012.

Statewide averages also dropped from last week. AAA Texas reports in their annual survey the average price fell four cents to $3.46 per gallon. The most expensive gas is found in Dallas and Galveston at $3.48 per gallon while the least expensive gas is found in Amarillo at $3.39. Lubbock is not part of the AAA Texas survey.

The national average fell four cents from $3.63 per gallon to $3.59.
