Gas Prices Slip in Lubbock and Across Texas

According to the KFYO News Gas Price survey, the average price for regular unleaded gas in Lubbock is $3.07 per gallon, down 1 cent from last week.

According to AAA Texas, the average price of gas in Texas is $3.14 per gallon, down two cents a week ago. In the Texas cities surveyed by AAA, the most expensive gas is in Amarillo at $3.20 a gallon while Fort Worth is the lowest at $3.08. Lubbock is not part of the AAA Texas survey.

Nationally the price for gas is $3.38 per gallon, down three cents from a week ago.

AAA reports that crude prices have increased due to market attention given to the U.S. Economy and the health of the global economy.
