Gas Prices Keep Rising in Lubbock, But at a Slower Rate Compared to Last Week

According to a KFYO survey, the average price for regular self-serve gas in Lubbock this week is $3.71 a gallon, up 1 cent from last week.

According to a AAA Texas survey, the average price in Texas is $3.84 a gallon, up 1 cent. The cheapest gas among the 11 Texas cities surveyed by AAA is in Amarillo, $3.65 a gallon.  The most expensive is in Dallas, $3.90 a gallon.

Nationally, the average price is $3.94 a gallon,

up 1 cent.
