Gas Prices Keep Rising…and Rising…and Rising

According to a KFYO survey, the average price for regular self-serve gas in Lubbock this week is $3.57 a gallon, up 8 cents from last week, up 19 cents in the last two weeks.

According to a AAA Texas survey, the average price in Texas is $3.62 a gallon, up 4 cents from last week. The cheapest gas among the 11 Texas cities surveyed by AAA is in El Paso, $3.53 a gallon.  The most expensive is in Dallas and Fort Worth, $3.66 a gallon.

Nationally, the average price is $3.70 a gallon, up 3 cents from last week.
