Gas Prices in Lubbock Rise Slightly
According to the KFYO News Gas Price survey, the average price for regular unleaded gas in Lubbock is $3.08 per gallon, up two cents from last week.
The average price of fuel this time last year was $2.95 per gallon. Two years ago the price was at $2.78.
According to AAA Texas, the average price of gas in Texas is $3.16 per gallon, even from last week. In the Texas cities surveyed by AAA, the most expensive gas is in El Paso at $3.41 a gallon while Beaumont is the lowest at $3.10. Lubbock is not part of the AAA Texas survey.
Nationally the price for gas is $3.41.
