Gas prices in Lubbock have fallen again for the second week in a row.

According to the KFYO News Gas Price Survey, the average price for regular unleaded gas in Lubbock is $3.45 per gallon, down three cents from last week. The price drop comes when most area school districts on Spring Break next week.

The price for fuel this time last year was $3.57 and two years ago was $3.36.

AAA Texas reports the average price for fuel also dropped from last week. The price in Texas dropped five cents to $3.58 with the highest average in Dallas at $3.62 and El Paso the lowest at $3.48. Lubbock is not part of the AAA Texas survey.

The national average sits at $3.74.
