Gas Prices Drop Under $3 Again in Lubbock

According to the KFYO News Gas Price survey, the average price for regular unleaded gas in Lubbock is $2.96 per gallon, down 11 cents from last week.

According to AAA Texas, the average price of gas in Texas is $3.09 per gallon, down a nickel from last week. In the Texas cities surveyed by AAA, the most expensive gas is in Amarillo at $3.14 a gallon while Fort Worth is the lowest at $3.03 for the second consecutive week. Lubbock is not part of the AAA Texas survey.

Nationally the price for gas is $3.38 per gallon, down three cents from a week ago.

The average price for diesel fuel in Lubbock currently sits at $3.81 a gallon.
