Gas Prices Continue to Fall in Lubbock as We Near Summer Driving Season
According to this week’s KFYO News Gas Price Survey, the average price for regular self-serve unleaded in Lubbock is $3.27 a gallon, down 3 cents from last week, and down 20 cents over the past 3 weeks.
One year ago the average price of regular self-serve unleaded in Lubbock was $3.65 a gallon.
According to this week’s AAA Texas statewide survey, the average price in the Lone Star State is $3.56 a gallon, down a nickel from last week. The cheapest gas among the 11 Texas cities surveyed by AAA is in Amarillo at $3.43 a gallon; El Paso’s the most expensive at $3.69 a gallon. Lubbock is not included in the AAA Texas survey.
Nationally, the average price is $3.72 a gallon, down 1 cent from last week.
