Gas Prices Are Lower For Sixth Straight Week
According to a KFYO survey, the average price for regular self-serve gas in Lubbock this week is $3.45 a gallon, down 9 cents from last week. Overall, prices for regular self-serve gas in Lubbock in the current survey range from $3.38 to $3.49 a gallon,
According to a AAA Texas survey, the average price in Texas is $3.57 a gallon, down 5 cents from last week.
The cheapest gas among the 11 Texas cities surveyed by AAA is in Beaumont-Port Arthur, $3.50 a gallon. The most expensive is in Amarillo, 3.63 a gallon.
Nationally, the average price is $3.72 a gallon, down 7 cents from last week.
