Recent toxicology results show that the 17-year-old Frenship student who was hit by a pickup truck had a blood alcohol content of .231 at the time of the accident. The number is nearly three times the legal adult limit.

Authorities say Conner Mercer was lying in the road when a pickup hit him on Upland Avenue near 87th street in the early morning hours of October 30th. The TABC continues to investigate the accident, but charges have not been filed. Authorities maintain that the driver of the vehicle was not at fault, and called police to report the accident.
