An area school district will showcase the arts programs in their schools this weekend.

Frenship ISD is hosting their first-ever event in the new Frenship Performing Arts Center, which is their Frenship Showcase of the Visual and Performing Arts.

They will present performances and artwork that showcase the talent of students of all ages within the district.

The event will run from Thursday, May 10th through Saturday, May 12th, and admission is free.

Thursday evening, the Frenship High School Honor Band and Mixed Choir will perform at 7:00 p.m., and the theatre department will perform at 7:45 p.m. Other performances will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, and more on Saturday morning until noon.

Visual arts displays will be available at the center from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and also Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until noon.

The Performing Arts Center is located on the southwest corner of the Frenship High School campus at the intersection of Donald Preston Drive and Farm-to-Market 179 in Wolfforth.
