Free Market Auto Sales, Bypassing Dealerships, Will Benefit Texans – Senator Bob Hall [INTERVIEW]

Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, Texas Senator Bob Hall (R-District 2) joined the show to talk about his efforts at making it legal for vehicle manufacturers to sell directly to consumers, bypassing the "middleman" dealers in Texas.

Hall has introduced legislation (S.B.2093) in the Senate, and shared with Hasty the history of the bill, and the reasoning behind it.

Speaking about the current laws in the state of Texas, Hall said,

It's kind of like doing what most of the other states have done. We're only one of four states left that have the restrictions in free markets when it comes to automobiles, that we have here in Texas...We have a lot of laws on the books that have been there for a long time...This really just kind of opens it up and says, 'Let's let the free market take over here and let the benefits go to the citizens.'
