Four Texas Tech Football Players Added to Publication’s All-Big 12 Team

Four Red Raider football players have been named to a preseason conference team.

Senior offensive lineman Lonnie Edwards was named to the first team of the 2011 Lindy’s Preseason All-Big 12 Team, while junior offensive lineman LaAdrian Waddle and sophomore defensive back Tre’ Porter were named to the second team.

Junior all-purpose player Eric Stephens received third team honors. Edwards was also added to the Phil Steele Magazine Preseason All-Big 12 Team.

Overall, the Texas Tech football team was ranked sixth in the national publication’s preseason standings.
