The last of four Texas climbers were rescued yesterday in Washington State.

The final climber, Stacy Wren of Waco was rescued on Mount Rainier in an effort that cost a National Park Ranger his life during the rescue of the four climbers.

Wren was taken away by car Friday evening after the rescue off the inactive volcano after the group fell into a crevasse on the mountain on Thursday.

Rescuers are now trying to recover the body of the dead Ranger, 33-year old Nick Hall. Hall fell 3,000 feet to his death as he was helping to evacuate the Texas climbers.

Some rescuers are pinned down by a ground blizzard and made camp for the night at Camp Schurman on the high mountain hoping for better weather today to begin the rescue.
