Jared Kaster was the center at Texas Tech from 2012 to 2015, started the final 37 games of his career and was a captain his senior season. He's found a new calling in 2018 and will join former Texas Tech offensive assistant Zach Kittley at Houston Baptist University as the Offensive Line Coach.

The Houston Baptist football team is led by head coach Vic Shealy and is coming off of a 1-10 season, after beating only Texas Southern last season.

Kittley is in his first season as the offensive coordinator at HBU after getting hired this offseason after being Kliff Kingsbury's right hand man the last few seasons.

As part of the Southland Conference, a D1 FCS conference, the Huskies look to bounce back in 2018 with a much-improved offensive attack. The offensive line will be a huge part of any success that HBU has this season.

Congratulations to Jared Kaster for getting a great job to start his career.
