A former Coronado High School teacher was placed under house arrest Thursday, January 3rd.

Scott Riley Hall accepted a plea deal for the use of interstate facilities to transport information about a minor back in November. As part of the plea deal, Hall admitted to having a sexual relationship with one of his students.

Hall was allowed to go free after he was indicted, but he was order to have no contact with minors and to not go where minors would likely be found.

Hall will be sentenced at a later date to no more than five years in federal prison.
