Jay White, a former Lubbock Police Department officer who was accused of felony domestic assault involving his former fiance in 2014, has been found not guilty.

The decision was reached in only eighteen minutes according to Everything Lubbock. The case spanned multiple days in court, with accusations from White's former fiance and his own accusations about her drinking habits and how she attacked him with a bat.

A previous trial against White ended in a mistrial back in May.
