This morning (Oct. 2), Lubbock Police released a statement about the reports of shots fired Sunday evening (Oct. 1) in the Lakeridge area.

Police responded around 7:15 p.m. to multiple calls of shots fired in the area of 85th street and Quinton. Officers tracked down the shooters to a home in the 500 block of 50th street. In total, five men were arrested in connection to the shots fired.

Four men were arrested and charged with organized crime, possession of a stolen firearm and aggravated assault. Two of them had outstanding misdemeanor warrants. A fifth male at the home was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
