First Church of the Nazarene to Host Men’s Retreat in October [AUDIO]

On Tuesday’s edition of Lubbock’s First News, Patrick McCarty from First Church of the Nazarene talked with Tom Collins and guest host Sondra Ziegler about their upcoming men’s retreat.

First Church of the Nazarene’s men’s ministry, Men of Honor, will be hosting a men’s retreat in October, and registration for the retreat is now open. McCarty explained that Men of Honor focuses on men’s responsibility as the head of the household, and focuses on restoring “biblical manhood” to society. This year’s retreat will feature actor Robert Amaya from the movie “Courageous,” as the guest speaker.

The retreat will take place Friday, October 18th to Sunday, October 20th at Blanco Canyon in Floydada, Texas. Registration s $80 per person, and scholarships are available, but all deposits are due by August 15th. For more information and to register for the retreat, visit their website at fcnhome.com.
