FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Fort Worth police say homicide detectives are investigating after a 37-year-old man and his 11-year-old daughter were found dead at a home.

Police are not searching for any suspects in the deaths of the two, whose bodies were found early Sunday morning by the mother of the child and other relatives. The medical examiner's office will determine the causes of death. Their identities have not yet been released.

Police Sgt. Steve Enright tells the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that the mother and father had recently separated, and the girl was visiting her father for the weekend.

Enright said that the mother and relatives went to the house and discovered the bodies after getting information from other relatives that something may have happened there.
