Fake TV Producer Facing Charges for Preying on Young Girls
A San Antonio man pretending to be a reality TV producer is facing charges for soliciting nude pictures from young girls.
According to prosecutors, Gemase Lee Simmons approached several underage girls in restaurants and grocery stores claiming to be seeking models.
Testimonies by two 16-year-old girls say that they received texts from purported models who convinced the girls to text nude photos of themselves.
The calls were traced to Simmons’ cell phone.
Simmons faces 39 counts of child pornography, extortion and bank fraud.
It is believed that there are as many as eight youths that Simmons preyed upon.
