Lubbock ‘Mega-Church’ Experience Life, otherwise known as E-Life, has cancelled their church services for both tomorrow and Sunday.

E-Life will instead direct more than 1,700 volunteers through over 30 different service projects across Lubbock in an event called 'Servolution'.

“We are passionate about being a church that is for the city and blesses the city of Lubbock in Jesus’ name! To us, that means meeting the physical needs of the local organizations and people in our city. We are excited about being out in our community this weekend to be the church,” said Operations/LifeHouse pastor Clayton Walker.

According to E-Life, this is the third year for Servolution at Experience Life Lubbock, and the first year for Servolution at Experience Life Amarillo.

E-Life will be working with various organizations including: Buckner Children’s Home, South Plains Food Bank and the Lubbock Dream Center.
