Thursday evening's storms brought a large wall of dirt to Lubbock and surrounding counties.  The haboob started crossing over into Lubbock County from Hockley County after 7 o'clock.

The same storm complex that brought dirt to Lubbock caused some severe storms in the northwest South Plains. A 53 mph wind gust, and 0.3" was recorded in Muleshoe.
