The Lubbock Police Department is using social media to interact with citizens today in what has been called a "Tweet-a-Long". Throughout the day on Twitter the @LubbockPolice account will send out information about what officers are up to and what types of situations are occurring.

The Lubbock Police Department is also encouraging Twitter users to ask questions and let the police know via Twitter any problem areas they come across. So far officers have pulled over people for out of date registration stickers and of course speeding, so slow down.

Give the @LubbockPolice a follow on Twitter and enjoy the "Tweet-a-Long". While you are on Twitter, follow @KFYO as well.
