Election Results from Lubbock County

Various municipalities in Lubbock County held elections today on the state’s election day for cities, school districts and other municipalities.  The City of Lubbock, Lubbock ISD and Lubbock County were not among them.

Here are the final results for all of the contested elections:

Slaton ISD Board of Trustees, Place 4
Carlos Bentancourt     18 votes  81.82%
Billy Joe Green             4 votes   18.18%

Idalou ISD Board of Trustees, Place 1
Mark McCormick         26 votes  7.05%
Russ Perkins                 343 votes  92.95%

Idalou City Council Member (Vote for 2)
Diana Bravo                81 votes  18.88%
Joe Sisk                        176 votes 41.03%
Brad Marlar                172 votes 40.09%

Roosevelt ISD Board of Trustees, Place 1
Chris Shultz                       67 votes  61.47%
DeWayne McCallister    42 votes  38.53%

Shallowater ISD Board of Trustees, At-Large, 2-Year Term (Unexpired Term)
Garett Nelson                149 votes 69.64%
Patrick Sturdivant       78 votes  34.36%

Shallowater ISD Board of Trustees, At-Large, 1-Year Term (Unexpired Term)
Truitt Garland            47 votes 20.26%
Anthony Foerster    70 votes 30.17%
Sandy Peters               115 votes 49.57%

Wolfforth City Council Member, Vote for 3
James Vardy            68 votes 31.19%
Jose I. Rosales         62 votes 28.44%
Epifanio M. Garza    22 votes 10.09%
Randy Gross              66 votes 30.28%
