Here are just a few things in Chad’s Pile that you will hear on Lubbock’s First News this morning. Give Chad your feedback on the steaming topics.

1. Election Day

It's election day in Texas and we want you to go and vote. Of course we also want you to be an informed voter when you head to the polls. So far, 4,826 have voted in Lubbock county for the Constitutional Amendments. Not a big turnout, but probably what people expected. Not sure what you are voting on? No problem! Check out the list of constitutional amendments and get ready to vote. Check out KFYO for a list of voting centers too.

2. Herman Cain (link)

Another day, another story about Herman Cain and sexual harassment. You can read the story linked above to the latest woman now accusing Cain of sexual harassment, but personally I'm not ready to throw Cain under the bus yet. It's hard to believe someone when they are just now making these accusations. Why didn't this new woman say anything in the 90's? Sounds like it's just someone else trying to grab the spotlight here. At this point, it's her word vs. his.

3. Craig done (link)

Bob Craig announced that he wouldn't run for reelection to the State Board of Education. He has held that position since 2002. According to KFYO News:

Craig said “At the end of my current term, I will have devoted 24 years to public service, working with students, parents, and educators to provide a quality public education…Now is the time for me to step out of public service in the educational arena and allow others the opportunity to serve. I will continue to be an advocate for topnotch educational opportunities for all students.”
