On Tuesday's edition of Lubbock's First News Cameron Sasnett, CEO and founder of the non-profit polling agency Elect Logic, spoke with Chad and Rex about tonight's caucus in Iowa.

Sasnett said that, when it comes to polls, it is much more important to understand the poll itself rather than the numbers, since different polls use different methods. Concerning the caucus, he said that states like Iowa and New Hampshire are "retail states," for candidates, and have a more personal feel to them. He said that, as opposed to national appeal, candidates with a high "trust factor" will do well in these states.

Sasnett expects this to be a very close race. In particular, he expects the top 3 candidates: Mitt Romney, Ron Paul and Rick Santorum, to have good showings, but says the race can still go either way for any of the candidates.
