A woman who was reported missing on Wednesday in Lubbock has been found.

A friend of 79-year-old Janet Wright became concerned for her safety when they were unable to contact her yesterday. Wright reportedly suffers from a form of cognitive impairment.

KAMC News reports that Wright was last seen Wednesday evening visiting a family member at the University Medical Center. Wright was reported missing Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. and a state-wide Silver Alert was issued at 7:51 p.m. to help find her.

Unexpectedly, Wright was found Thursday night in El Paso. Police have not explained how she ended up there.
