Easter AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch

Drivers in Texas are paying an average of $2.22 for a gallon of unleaded gas this week, according to AAA Texas.

The average is consistent with last week’s and $1.15 less than this week last year, indicated the AAA Weekend Gas Watch.

Nationally, drivers are paying an average of $2.40 a gallon at the pump - two cents less than last week.

Prices in Lubbock County were shown to be as low as $2.07 Thursday on Gasbuddy.com.
