Friday is the last day to vote early in the July 31st Party Primary Runoff election.

Polls will be open until 8 p.m. at multiple locations across the area, including many United Supermarkets, The Texas Tech Student Recreation Center located at Hartford Avenue and Main Street, and the Lubbock County Elections Office at 1308 Crickets Avenue.

Republicans in the area will have the opportunity to vote for Ted Cruz or David Dewhurst for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Kay Bailey Hutchison.

The ballot also includes Christi Craddick or Warren Chisum for Railroad Commissioner, Barry Smitherman or Greg Parker for a 2-year unexpired term for Railroad Commissioner, and David Medina or John Devine for Texas Supreme Court Justice, place four.

The Democratic ballot includes Paul Sadler or Grady Yarbrough for U.S. Senator, and Democrats within Lubbock County’s Precinct 3 have the choice between Gilbert Flores or Lorenzo “Bubba” Sedeño for County Commissioner.

Republicans in State House District 88 have the choice of voting for State Representative Jim Landtroop or Ken King.

Polls will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
