Instead of a DWI, the Louisiana man was given a ticket for being drunk in public.

WBRZ reports that Jake Williams had a few drinks after work at a daiquiri bar in Watson, Louisiana. He had driven his truck with the trailer attached and the horse inside.

Wait...a cowboy in a daiquiri bar?

Williams realized he was too drunk to drive home, so he took his horse Sugar out of the trailer and began riding her home along the highway.

Shortly after his journey began, a police deputy pulled him over. The officer was going to arrest him for a DWI, but he was on a horse, not a car.

Instead, he got the ticket for being drunk in public. Williams still defends his choice of transportation was safer than driving.
