Texas State Representative John Frullo (R-Lubbock) announced a statewide photo campaign today.

The photo campaign is called “What does your Texas drought look like?” and it aims to involve Texans to contribute their photos of the effects of the on-going drought in Texas.

Frullo said in press release,

"While we know the facts and numbers on how bad Texas droughts can be, we don't have a comprehensive visual record of their effects. This drought photo campaign provides the unique opportunity for Texans to archive and share the photographic story of our state's on-going drought."

The Texas Water Development Board, the Texas Department of Agriculture, and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department teamed up to host the campaign.

Texas has currently been in severe drought conditions since 2011 with 99 percent of Texas in some stage of drought.
