Soil Scientist Dr. Theo Udeigwe from the Texas Tech Plant and Soil Sciences Department joined Lubbock's First News on Wednesday (Aug. 19).

Udeigwe specializes in Environmental Forensics when studying soil and the program has helped him reach out to other countries, one of those being Egypt.

"Climate change of course is a global issue," said Udeigwe. "Different parts of the world feel it differently."

In Egypt, what they have found is climate changes in the soil and how it affects the agriculture in that area.
