DPS Raid in Lubbock Nets Arrests and Cash and Methamphetamine Seizure

Texas DPS (Lubbock Branch)

Texas DPS Troopers yesterday seized over 17 pounds of methamphetamine in a raid on a central Lubbock residence.  The drugs, valued at over $620,000, along with $12,000 in cash, were found in a home in the 4800 block of 35th Street. Shortly before the search, a DPS trooper stopped and seized a stolen vehicle that was linked to the investigation.

Four suspects from Mexico and one from the United States have been arrested

According to DPS, the drugs have been linked to a Mexican drug cartel.

Four suspects from Mexico and one from the U.S. have been arrested and charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, money laundering and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The ATF, Lubbock Police Department and U.S. Border Patrol assisted the DPS in the arrests.
