DPS Hosts Commercial Vehicle Training

The Texas Department of Public Safety will host a commercial vehicle training day on Thursday, August 23rd in Lubbock.

The training will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Lubbock Fire Training Facility at 1515 Ursuline. This month's training will cover hazmat shipping shipping papers in 49 CFR 172.202 and other topics related to shipping descriptions.

The training is free and DPS Troopers will be on site to answer questions relating to commercial vehicle rules and regulations.
