Over the weekend, the local paper had an article on the City Bank Auditorium and the issue of trust. Back in 2004, voters in Lubbock approved $4.5 million in bonds for renovations to the auditorium. That money was eventually shifted over to fix the Civic Center and other buildings. In the article, Council members are hoping to restore trust with the public, but even the Mayor acknowledged that it would be hard to do.
