Do You Plan on Traveling to the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas to Watch Texas Tech? [POLL]

Yesterday, Texas Tech fans learned where the Red Raiders would be playing their bowl game. The 7-5 Red Raiders will travel to Houston to play the 6-6 Minnesota Golden Gophers. Tech and Minnesota last played in 2006 in the Insight Bowl. According to 1340thefan.com:

The Red Raiders dropped down to the fifth Big 12 Bowl Selection and will play Minnesota (6-6) at the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas in Houston.

 

“We are thrilled to welcome Texas Tech back to Houston for its first time since 2003,” said Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas executive director Heather Houston. “We feel that the Red Raiders will be a great match for Minnesota and that football fans in Houston will love their exciting offense.”

 

The game will be played Friday, December 28 at 8p at Reliant Stadium in Houston. Ticket prices start at $30 and can purchased through Texas Tech Athletics or Ticketmaster.
