House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has recommended that President Trump not deliver the State of the Union Address to a joint session of Congress. President Trump stopped Pelosi from using government aircraft to head overseas. The President has insisted that border security, including a wall or fence, be included for the shutdown to end. The Democrats so far have refused to negotiate.
