Did Rep. Randy Neugebauer Do All He Could to Stop the 2008 Financial Meltdown?

Did Rep. Randy Neugebauer do all he could to prevent the financial meltdown in 2008?   On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, congressional

candidate Chris Winn suggested that  in the period leading up to the financial meltdown,  Neugebauer was in a position to prevent it.

Question: Do you think that Neugebauer’s actions helped to contribute to the financial meltdown?

Winn: " I believe so.  Understand, every agency, SEC, FDIC, all of them are clearly under the auspices of and jurisdiction of the House  Financial Services Committee."

Neugebauer serves on that committee.
